The essence of the creative process has little to do with technology: cameras, lenses, film type or megapixels. Rather, how I see and understand my subject matter and lighting. I have to ‘see it’ in my mind before I can capture it. That is vision. Then return as often as needed to capture that vision. That is patience. The majority of my images are recorded using medium and large format film. I print on a large-format HP z3100 12-color inkjet printer. Image preparation is done in my studio.
